How a session unfolds

Five stages, in order, from the base reels to the final free spin.

Stage 1

Base game, up to 10 lines

Fishin' Frenzy runs on 5 reels and 3 rows, with 1 to 10 selectable lines and a total stake anywhere from 100 to 200,000 (or currency equivalent). Wins are read left to right on consecutive reels, starting from the far-left reel; only the highest combination on each line is paid, and every winning line is added together.

Stage 2

The boat scatter lands

Landing 3, 4 or 5 boat scatters anywhere on the grid awards 10, 15 or 20 free games respectively. This is the only route into the feature – there's no separate boat payout on the base game.

Stage 3

The fisherman appears

The fisherman wild is exclusive to free games; he never shows up on the base reels. Once he's in play, he substitutes for every symbol except the boat scatter.

Stage 4

Every fish on screen gets collected

During free games, fish carrying values of 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 or 500 sit on the grid. On any spin where a fisherman lands in view, he catches the value of every fish showing at that moment. The fisherman also pays for himself directly: 2 on screen is worth 10, 3 is worth 100, 4 is worth 500, 5 is worth 5,000.

Stage 5

The round closes without retriggering

Free games cannot be retriggered – extra boats mid-feature don't extend the count. All spins play on the 10 lines that are always active during the feature, at the stake that won them, with nothing further deducted from the balance. The single biggest result the game allows is 250,000, worked out as 250,000 times the total stake.
